Kodaikkanal

Pictures by James Waldby, taken in or near Kodaikkanal, a "hill station" about 110 km southeast of Coimbatore. At altitude ~2300 m, Kodaikkanal has terrific climate year round, but recently has been facing possible water shortages due to less rain than usual.

[Snapshot of 0526_004.jpg] Camelot -- Front view. The slanted concrete roofs were poured in place; Jaya says this was a struggle for their contractor, but the concrete has worked much better than wood in the Kodaikkanal climate.
