Mount Washburn - 6 August 2006

James and Gail Waldby

These pictures were taken along the north-side trail to Mount Washburn in Yellowstone National Park. This trail begins at a parking lot at the end of Chittenden Road, about three miles north of the peak, and about halfway between Tower-Roosevelt and Canyon Village. The peak is at 10243' altitude, and the parking lot ~ 8800'. (Another approach to Washburn begins near Dunraven Pass, about 6 miles closer to Canyon Village.)
